general policy in delivering & handling
Van Nam Furniture & Interior Decoration commits to quality, pride in making our furniture and we will do all we can to ensure your purchase is delivered to you on time. All our products are packaged for safe transit and will be handled by Van Nam’s professionals.
Once your order is received into our warehouse; you will be contacted to schedule the delivery to your convenience and payment. You can also refer to the ORDER CONFIRMATION that would have been emailed to you upon purchase for the estimated delivery dates. Please notice that having someone at home to receive furnitures as our schedule notification.
Please note that it is your responsibility to check that your items will fit through doors, staircases and lifts in their packaging before you place your order. Product dimensions are included in the product description on our website.
For Door to Door Delivery, we only install products in ready-to-use conditions, excluding the products to fit on wall and drilling ... but not including Kitchen Cabinets or enterprise orders.
Our shippers are not allowed to do anything out of installing furnitures. If you do not officially use our service, we are not responsible for those products or services.
II. DELIVERY CHARGES.
We use service from the 3rd party; therefore, our delivery charges are intended to cover the processing of your order, handling and packing the products, and finally delivering them to you. For orders above 10 Million VND, delivery will be free.
We currently supply and deliver within the provinces of Vietnam only.
Our items are produced by a number of manufacturers; therefore they will arrive our distribution center at different times. If you would like your items to be separated into multiple delivery trips, additional delivery fee applies when items for each trip is more than 10 Million VND in value.
All undelivered orders will be returned to our distribution centre and restocked. To reschedule for a delivery to the correct delivery address, we will contact you to arrange for the next available delivery with a restocking fee of 10% for orders valued or cap at 2 Million VND for orders valued equivalent.
We dispatch small packages through our logistic partners and on the day of delivery, you will get a notification via SMS or call. If you are unable to take delivery, you may choose to reschedule the delivery, get it received by your apartment security, or placed at your door step.
Vi. RECEIVing items.
On delivery, customer and shipper appointed by the customer shall inspect the item(s) and the surroundings carefully before our carrier leaves the premise. Any damage(s) detected should be immediately reported to the carrier and noted on the delivery copy.
You will also need to email us at and provide a detailed description of fault and photos (or video, where appropriate) showing the damage or fault. We will then reply within 03 working days.
In the event an exchange for the defect piece cannot be made, we reserves the right to offer a substitute or full refund. All replacement of item(s) will depend on the next available shipment. We shall not be liable for any consequences (whether direct or indirect) of the delay in the delivery of the goods and no such delay shall entitle the customer to treat this agreement as being repudiated by us or to any comparison. All full refund due to defects will be refunded by the following:
Purchase Price - Replacement value - Delivery Fee = Refunded Amount (VND).
Customers who do not inspect the goods or surroundings upon delivery, accepts the condition as is by signing their acceptance on the delivery order. The delivery order then serves as evidence of the condition of the goods and surroundings as at the time of delivery. Hence, any new defect findings at a later stage will not be entertained.
VIi. REFUSAL OF ENTRY BY BUILDING MANAGEMENT.
Should the building management reject admittance of our delivery team, delivery will be rescheduled accordingly with a restocking fee of 10% per delivery order for invoice valued maximum 2 Million VND. We reserve the right to reschedule the delivery, subject to availability of next delivery slot. Customer is required to place any deposit in regarding to truck delivery fees or lifting usage fees to the building management for moving goods into their premises.
We agree to deliver goods to you on the understanding that reasonable access is available. It is your responsibility to check measurements to ensure your goods will fit in the intended areas. If reasonable access is unavailable or if it becomes hazardous (i.e. items prone to damage on narrow stairway, obstruction of passageway); we reserve the right to cancel the delivery. All items to be returned to us shall be restocked and refunded, less delivery and restocking fee. Should we proceed with the delivery in a non-hazardous condition.
ix. dELAY DELIVERY DUE TO UNFORESEEN SITUATIONS.
a) In the event of delay in shipment due to unforeseen situations, we reserves the right to reschedule the delivery, subjected to availability of next delivery slot.
b) No specific time of delivery can be provided. A time frame will be advised but cannot be guaranteed.
c) We shall not be liable for any consequences or any loss suffered or expenses incurred (whether direct or indirect) due to the delay in the shipment / delivery of the goods and no such delay shall entitle the customer to treat this agreement as being repudiated by us or to any comparison.
x. STORAGE FEES.
We will be free to keep your orders within 30 days in condition to pay 100% of order value. After 30 days free storage period, storage charges will be at 5% of the item value per each storage week. After 30 days, if you do not receive items, they would be returned and we would refund 70% intem value including all other fees.
